A Big Weekend for the Auerbach's

We're in celebration mode down in sunny St. Pete this weekend! Graduation is upon us! After years of juggling a full-time job and school, Scott will get his Bachelors Degree in Orthotics & Prosthetics from the J.E. Hanger School of Orthotics & Prosthetics at St. Petersburg College on Saturday morning at Tropicana Field. This is a particularly huge milestone for us as a couple because the first three years of our relationship were spent with textbooks between us. It's hard to believe that from this point forward, the words "I've gotta study" will no longer put a damper on weekend plans and evening outings. I almost can't fathom what it will be like to spend whole evenings together for weeks on end but I can't wait to try my hand at it! Don't get me wrong, though. I'm so proud of his dedication to and love for O & P. Scott's passion for the field is truly inspiring. My year-long break from science has been a good and more than necessary one. However, watching Scott take such pride in his work and enjoy every second of it has me ready to hit the ground running again with my own career interests. Scott will do great things for the O&P industry and the patients who rely on it for maintaining their quality of life. His intelligence, experience, compassion, and perfectionist attitude will take him far...about 5,000 miles to be exact! I'm just so proud to call him my partner in crime! Congrats, Scott!
